The Authentic Communicator

Find your voice.
Speak with authenticity.
Own the room.

I help people find their voice and speak with confidence in any room — whether it's a prepared presentation, a Zoom presentation, or an off-the-cuff speaking moment in front of a group.

You're good at what you do. This is about owning how you say it.

This coaching is for people who know their work well but feel less like themselves the moment a room is watching. If speaking in front of others makes you pull back, overperform, or disappear — you're in the right place.

  • You feel less like yourself in front of a group — more guarded, stiff, or performative than you intend.
  • You want to sound more natural and confident, not like you're working hard to project something.
  • You're preparing for a presentation, a Zoom meeting, or a live speaking moment and want to show up clearly.
  • You've been called "too rehearsed" or "hard to read" — and you're tired of it.
  • You're a mid-level manager, a senior contributor, or a rising leader who is excellent at your work but struggles to clearly and confidently convey your point of view in the room.

This isn't about polish.

"Most speaking coaching teaches you to sound better. This coaching teaches you to sound more like yourself."

There's no shortage of coaches who will teach you to stand differently, speak more loudly, or slow down your pace. Those things can help. But they don't address the actual problem.

The actual problem is that most people have been trained — by corporate culture, by anxiety, by years of watching how leaders are "supposed" to speak — to hide behind a voice that isn't quite their own.

Real confidence doesn't come from performing confidence. It comes from knowing who you are and being willing to speak from that place. The goal here isn't to sound like everyone else in the room. The goal is to sound like yourself — clearly, fully, and without apology.

The Own the Room Framework

Three steps. One through-line: stop speaking from the voice you think others want, and start speaking from your own.

01

Find Your Voice

Get clear on who you are, how you lead, and how you want to sound — so you can stop performing and start communicating.

02

Speak with Authenticity

Learn how to bring your real voice into professional settings in a way that feels natural, clear, and true to you — in any format, any room.

03

Own the Room

Be fully yourself in the room. Find your style. Commit to it. Make the connection — with three people or three thousand.

Three ways to work together

Whether you need focused preparation for a specific moment or a structured journey to build lasting presence, there's a path for you.

Brian

I'm Brian.

I help people find their voice and speak with confidence in any room.

It started in high school — speech and acting tournaments, forensics competitions, learning early that the way you say something matters as much as what you're saying. That foundation grew into acting, stage work, hosting, emceeing, and live event announcing.

For years, I served as the on-court promotions announcer for Villanova Basketball and on-field announcer for Villanova Football. I have spoken in front of audiences ranging from 3 people to 20,000.

I also held leadership roles at Robert Half and Creative Circle — leading teams, presenting on company-wide Zoom calls, running in-person trainings, and speaking regularly with senior leaders and company presidents. Those years taught me that the skills that work in front of 20,000 people are the same ones that matter in a conference room of five. The tools are the same. The stakes feel different. The work is learning to show up the same way regardless.

One thing I've carried with me from every room I've been in: whether you're speaking to 3 people or 20,000, the connection still happens one person at a time.

This work is rooted in helping people stop sounding stiff, performative, or unlike themselves — and start speaking with a confidence that feels real, because it is.

"People do not need more polish. They need to sound more like themselves."

Whether you're speaking to 3 people or 20,000, the connection still happens one person at a time.
